Barbara has extensive training and experience in Mindfulness, the practice of being here now in the present moment without judgment on purpose. She is trained in MBSR mindfulness based stress reduction; DRAM, developing resilience through applied mindfulness; MC, mindful communication; and MSC, mindful self compassion. She is presently teaching Mindful Communication through McMaster University.
Barb is a trained MSC (mindful self-compassion) teacher having completed the requirements for this training with Centre for Mindful Self-Compassion in 2016.
